JAPANESE CURSE TRADITIONS
Japanese Curse Traditions
Japanese curse traditions are often associated with images such as ushi no koku mairi (丑の刻参り) and straw dolls (藁人形). These images developed through folklore, religious practice, literature and later popular culture.
